Concerns grow over the food to fuel issue with GM crops

Farmers in the US are growing the first corn plants genetically modified for the purpose of getting more ethanol in petrol tanks as opposed to producing more food. Aid Organisations are warning that the GM ethanol problem could have an effect due to the situations occurring in Somalia. Also the food industry is opposed to this as its is not used in food production. Read more ...
