Corn exporters in the US fear FTA Colombia-Canada

Corn exporters in the United States have become afraid that they will lose out in the market share of corn exports with Colombia after Canada and Colombia signed a Free Trade Agreement (FTA). The US Grains Council trade sources indicates that already Colombia buyers are placing orders with the Canadians. In 2007 the United States had a 93 percent market share, but in 2010 that market share has dropped by 20 percent. Read more ...
