Corn that requires less water and yes its genetically modified

A new strain of corn has been engineered to thrive in drought conditions, the future issues with crops is based around climate change. Drought is expected to become more common in the near future, as a result of that for the last several years 3 major international agribusiness, Monsanto, Pioneer and Syngenta have been chasing the idea to engineer corn to tolerate drought conditions and thrive.
