Different feeds tested for dairy cattle

Maringa State University in Brazil along with Swine Research and Development Center in Sherbrooke Canada carried out studies on various feed for dairy cattle. They studied production performance and milk composition. The dairy cows were fed either pelleted or non pelleted concentrates treated with or without Iinosulfonate with sunflower seeds.

Some of the conclusions derived from the experiments were that pelleting may improve nutritional value of concentrates containing sunflower seeds. But the results showed no positive effect could be proved between lignosulfonate treatment and pelleting. Read more ...
