The Polish agriculture minister is demanding a total ban on Genetically Modified Organisms throughout Europe, by asking for this total ban he would get GM crops banned to. The previous Polish government passed into the countries law a ban on GM foods and seeds. This ban was not in keeping with the line of the EU.
He is proposing to completely prohibit cultivation of GM plants but also feed and food that has been genetically modified, these comments comes days after he criticised President Bronislaw Komorowski for vetoing a bill on the registration of GM seeds. Read more ...
