Research from Madrid on pea hulls

Research carried out at the Polytechnic University of Madrid in Spain to study the effects of increasing the levels of pea hulls in the diet. The effects of inclusion of pea hulls in the diet on growth performance on broilers from 1 day to 18 days.

The trail was set up, with a control based diet on low fiber ingredient and three additional diets diluted and based on the basal diet with 25, 50 and 75 g PH/kg. Each experiment was carried out 12 times until they had a cage with all twelve chicken in. Read more ...
