Second raid on California organic food co-op

The US Food and Drug Administration along with federal agents and local police carried out a second raid on a farm cooperative in Venice, Ca. US$70,000 (€48,949) of raw organic food was sized and about 800 gallons of milk was poured down the drain. There was no evidence of any contamination.

Around five government agencies were involved in the raid, Rawesome, a private members raw food club, is claiming that these raids are are violating their rights to privately contract with farmers. Read more ...
