Corn yield in South-Central Kansas down by 40 percent

In South-Central Kansas the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), is forecasting a 40 percent lower yield than last year, due to the drought that has hit parts of the United States. The weather has taken its toll on the farmers and crops they produce, corn is predicted to be down by 473 million bushels that is 19 percent down from last year. Read more ...
