Ethanol use causes concerns about the availability and cost of feed

The US House Agriculture Subcommittee was told about the federally mandated use of Ethanol has and will have a serious effect on the availability and cost of feed ingredient for poultry and livestock. This stark warning come from a US turkey industry representative. Ted Seger, president and part owner of Farbest Foods Inc  and past chairman of the National Turkey Federation (NTF) told the committee that since 2005 corn prices have risen 64 percent.
