 Wageningen University and research center in the Netherlands shows that training can help piglets through the difficult timeframe around weaning. A recent PhD graduate Dr Marije Oostindjer whos thesis was called Learning how to eat like a pig, was key to her research on finding out how piglets learn and how we can use this knowledge to facilitate the weaning process.
