IATP: unapproved antibiotics in animal food

An investigation by the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy (IATP) has found that unapproved antibiotics are being used in ethanol production and ending up in animal feed.
According to Julia Olmstead, senior program associate with the IATP, producers and the FDA are turning a blind eye, as at currently no antibiotics are approved for use in making ethanol.
