The takeover of Dutch feed company, Hendrix UTD
feeds by ForFarmers from Nutreco was formalised and approved by
competition authorities on 1 April 2012. The takeover created Europe's largest feed company. To reflect this change, the new company will be known ForFarmers Hendrix. The new name will
come into effect from 1 January 1, 2013. Until then, ForFarmers and Hendrix will continue operating
under their current names.
