A cool start to Cereals 2012 in the UK

Cereals Event in the heart of Lincolnshire, UK, caught a glimpse of sunshine just before opening this morning, but then became overcast and cold. With temperatures unseasonably low at around 10 deg C with a little light moisture in the air, it might have been ideal a growing weather but not ideal for visitors and exhibitors.

However, that has not discouraged visitors from flooding through the gates at the Boothby Graffoe site. Organisers are expecting in excess of the 27,000 visitors they accommodated last year.

This is the event of the year where you can see the latest developments in cropping and cereal production - including post production handling and production. If you have the time over the next two days to attend, it will be worth the effort. Entry costs just UK£22/day per adult and the location is easy to reach by pointing your satnav to LN5 0AS.

Take a look at our Event Register (on the mobile PPLAPP) to see which companies listed in the International Milling Directory are exhibiting.

Please also drop in and see GFMT staff on stand G814.
