Event: IPPE interview

I know it's only the start of November and most of you, quite naturally, haven't started thinking about plans for next year, so forgive me if this post is a little preemptive. However, IPPE is a huge event so I wanted to share this as soon as possible.

There is nothing quite like IPPE,
January 28 - February 1, 2013, Atlanta, USA. The integration of three internationally recognised trade shows brings suppliers and buyers together for education, technology exchange and networking encompassing the entire spectrum of farm to table.

This year, the combination of the International Feed Expo (IFE), the International Poultry Expo (IPE), and the American Meat Institute’s International Meat Expo (IME) will attract over 25,000 attendees from over 100 countries and over 1,000 exhibitors.

I've been talking to Sarah Novak, vice president, membership and public relations, American Feed Industry Association, USA about the International Feed Expo part of the show. -->
Here's a taster of what she had to say:

Who is IPPE aimed at?
The International Feed Expo, a component of the IPPE, is an annual tradeshow designed for feed and pet food manufacturers, feed ingredient manufacturers, equipment manufacturers and anyone involved in the manufacturing and production of feed and pet food. In addition to the International Feed Expo component, also included in the integrated conference are the International Poultry Expo and International Meat Expo, which focus on the needs of poultry and egg producers and the processing of poultry, pork, beef and veal.

What are the themes of IPPE?
One Show, Once A Year…Endless Opportunities” sums it up well. With three partners this year, there are endless opportunities for attendees in all the feed and protein sectors...

Look out for the next issue of GFMT to read the rest of the interview.
