The 1060 is a sophisticated unit that is specifically designed for grinding SAP with precise particle uniformity at the 20 x 100 US Mesh (850 x 150 μm) size range and 30 x 100 Mesh (600 x 150 μm) with minimal “fines” (dust or bi-products), thereby improving process efficiencies throughout the grinding process.

One unique feature is the BAVA (Balance and Vibration Analysis) system that senses when product moisture levels elevate beyond the tolerable range. When this occurs, the product becomes elastic and does not grind efficiently. BAVA senses the material elasticity change and immediately notifies plant personnel. Another benefit of the BAVA system is the ability to predict bearing failures before they occur, further increasing operating efficiencies.
