Russian feed industry on the rise

There are clear indicators that the Russian feed industry has turned a corner and is returning to positive growth, reports AllAboutFeed on its website today. Following on from a severe recession there appears to be good prospects ahead in 2013 for Russia's feed industry.

Russian production was 17.45 million tonnes in 2011 and just under 20 million tones in 2012. For the first two months of 2013 output is already up 10 percent on the same period in 2012.

In fact, SoyaNews reports that March output was 1.81 million tonnes, again some nine percent over the same period last year.
