Today,
ANDRITZ FT Asia has more than 220 people employed in China, divided
between its various locations, which count three engineering locations
and two sales, service and manufacturing sites. Additionally, there are
three ANDRITZ FT hubs in the Asia Pacific region - in Vietnam, India and
Australia. Each of these hubs provides sales, service and complete
plant solutions serving the Asia Pacific region.
Acquisition of Shanghai Shende Machinery Co. Ltd
As part of the ANDRITZ FT growth strategy for Asia, Shanghai Shende Machinery Co. Ltd. was acquired by ANDRITZ Group and has since February 2013 been a part of the Feed Technologies division. Shende holds a good position in the Chinese marketplace, which is supplemented by an excellent reputation as a quality provider of cost-effective technologies and solutions for the feed industries.
With a long history and experience, since its beginning in 1992, Shende has long proven its performance and reliability in the handover of multiple turnkey projects and product deliveries.

complete plant solutions providing value for money to the Chinese/Asia
Pacific animal feed, aqua feed, pet food and biomass-pelleting
industries.
Towards achieving this, the project management and engineering competences of the ANDRITZ Liyang location will be merged with the competences of the newly acquired Shanghai Shende. The newly formed project engineering/management team will be located in Shanghai.
The project group will design and execute process plant solutions based on Shende and Andritz FT product lines under the ANDRITZ brand.
