12/12/13: Novus takes new website to next level; Brazil opposes global GM suspension; new appointment at feed additive firm

Animal nutrition solution company Novus has announced it is taking the design of its website to a new level with the launch of a tailored version, catering to the needs of customers in local markets.

The company originally launched its global corporate website back in May this year, incorporating features and content specifically intended to enhance usability and provide more value.

According to reports by British national newspaper the Guardian today, Brazil is set to go against a global moratorium on genetically-modified "terminator" seeds.

The seeds, often branded 'suicide seeds, are produced using genetic restriction, a technology that results in crop death after one harvest without producing offspring.
 
As one of the world's biggest agricultural producers, environmentalists worry that the move could result in a ripple effect that may lead to a worldwide adoption of the controversial technology.

Animal feed manufacturer Optivite recently expanded its marketing team.

Jason Nightingale joins the company as an international marketing manager, responsible for developing the brands global marketing strategy and driving growth across the company’s product portfolio. 

A key part of Nightingale's new role will be to develop a stronger relationship with Optivite’s global network of distributors in order to better support their sales activity and develop long term customer relationships.
