11/08/2014: 8th Sudan Poultry Expo for Febraury 2015


The Sudan Poultry Expo, 8th Session, will be from February 25-28, 2015, at Khartoum International Fair Ground.

SPE is a major specialized event dedicated to development of poultry, livestock and agricultural production in Sudan an Africa, with animal number exceeding 140 million cattle one of the largest in Africa and Middle East, SPE 8th Session will witness a dramatically change in exhibitors and visitors due to constant development to the event and rapid development and leap frog growth of poultry industry in Sudan, this led to doubling in stands sold at SPE for this session.

With its spacious halls and spectacular gardens KIFG avail to organizer, exhibitors and visitors a wide range of services and it is considered as one of the leading venues in Africa and Middle East in addition to the charming city Khartoum.

SPE was widely promoted in international events like VIV and VIV Asia - Bangkok, Agrena in Egypt, Space in France, Vetrana in Jordan, Khartoum International Fair and advertisements in specialised magazines. 

Coming session of SPE will be held Under the Patronage of HE Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries and Under Auspices of Ministry Of Animal Resources and Fisheries, Ministry Of Foreign Trade and Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources Khartoum State (Sudan) and supported by:

7th session of SPE will include the Following sectors:

* Refrigeration Exhibition

* Poultry, Meat and Milk Festival.



Poultry update 
Sudan recognized the potential of poultry industry in early 1950s of last century were imported breeders was brought to Sudan by government and private sector subsequently peasants recognised the potential of including poultry production in their farms, this was further accelerated by urban development after country independence in 1956, in late seventies many investors from Arab Gulf States started commercial egg and broiler production in Sudan, now days poultry industry is booming and growing rapidly, farmers in Sudan are shifting from open to closed and semi-closed system.

Sudan has a very good potential to be world major player in poultry products exports, a lot of local and international investors are starting new poultry business in Sudan.

This development in poultry sector is a part of Sudan economic development after seven years of commencement of crude oil exports and cease of civil war in South Sudan and partial peace agreement in Darfur Region.

Expo Team enjoys good business relations with other exhibition organizers in Egypt, Syria, Jordan, India, China and may other sales agents, all of them will introduce companies from their countries to SPE. HE Professor El Sadig Omara, former State Minister at Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry is the Guest speaker at the symposium Investment Opportunities in Sudan (Focus on Poultry Industry) and may other scientific symposia which will coincide with SPE, Business meeting are planned at Sudan Chamber of Commerce between Sudanese businessmen and international exhibitors and investors.
