The International Rendering Symposium is returning to the 2015 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE). The National Renderers Association is hosting the two-day symposium, which is US$150 for registered Expo attendees.
The 2015 International Rendering Symposium will include a presentation by Dr. William Dozier, Auburn University, on the usefulness of rendered products in poultry feeding. Ansen Pond, Darling Ingredients, will discuss quality assurance in the rendering industry. Dr. Ken Wilson, Simmons Feed Ingredients, will present on the importance of rendered products in pet food, while Dr. Jesse Trushenski, Southern Illinois University, will focus on the importance of rendered products in aquaculture.
Other topics will include: FSMA and Its Implications on Industry Certification Programs; Innovations in the Rendering Industry; A Virtual Tour of a Rendering Plant; Global Market Report; and Rendering and the Sustainability of Animal Agriculture.
The 2015 IPPE, the world's largest annual poultry, feed and meat industry trade show, will be held from Jan. 27 – 29, 2015, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The International Rendering Symposium is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, January 29 – 30, 2015.
