In honor of their 50th anniversary VICTAM International BV, in cooperation with Vitelia Feeds and the Feed Design Lab, will organize a feed industry tour on Monday June 8th and Friday June 12th, 2015 to the Vitelia feed mill and the Feed Design Lab in the Netherlands (about 1 hour from Cologne).
Vitelia Feeds is an innovative company that
manufactures and sells compound feed for pigs, poultry and cattle to farmers in
the Netherlands. The production sites of Vitelia Feeds are Ysselsteyn and Oirlo
in the Netherlands. The Vitelia feed mill uses innovative technologies and
advanced techniques such as micro-dosing, milling techniques, pegasus mixers,
presses, expanding and vacuum coating. More information can be found at

Feed Design Lab is the research- and
education center for innovation and sustainability in the feed industry.
The network of the Feed Design Lab is the core of its activities. Since its inception, over 60 companies from Europe and beyond joined the Feed Design Lab. The setting provides a perfect base for open innovation in the feed industry and is utilized by many partners in the network who are aspired to find new resources, develop new technologies and processes and to educate young people in the sector.
In April 2014, the test factory was opened.
It contains the latest technologies and machines that are useable in a
multifunctional manner.
Courses and training courses in the field
of feed production, process technology and animal nutrition are organized in
the training centre.

The tour is free of charge. Places are
limited. When there is a lot of interest, Victam will organize two groups per
day. In that case the time schedule will be altered. You will be informed in
due time of any changes.
