18/03/2015: Anitox creates new senior Technical Service role

Pathogen control specialist Anitox has bolstered its technical support in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions with the appointment of Dr Gino Lorenzoni as Technical Services Director.

The company’s latest hire reflects the importance of these business units to Anitox, as it seeks to satisfy interest in Finio®, its latest pathogen control solution for feed, following the product’s launch.

“This role is all about ensuring Anitox’s clients benefit from its science-backed product portfolio,” Dr Lorenzoni enthuses.

“I like the Anitox approach, which is all about increasing technical understanding of the product and demonstrating how it can increase the customer’s returns from feed investment.

“Finio is a really exciting product to be working on. It’s head-and-shoulders above other leading organic acid blends, not to mention the added residual protection.”

Roger Mann, Chief Operating Officer, is delighted with Dr Lorenzoni’s appointment.

“He has not only an impressive academic background in poultry sciences, with a specific focus on challenges in gut health, but also enviable industry experience. This will prove invaluable to our customers and in supporting our teams throughout Asia Pacific and EMEA.

“What’s more, he’s a firm believer in the Anitox view that R&D and on-going product development investment is critically important to success. At 6 percent of turnover, our investment spend is higher than many others and it’s key to achieving our understanding of pathogenic behaviour in feed and food production. It’s that which enables us to provide our customers with the best product offerings and support to match.”

A Chilean national, Dr Lorenzoni was previously at Elanco where he held several senior technical and commercial roles.
