13/05/2015: Don't miss the chance to hear Sarah Zimmerman, veteran journalist and media specialist at the Global Milling with GRAPAS Conference

Lou is rather annoyed with herself. 

Lou meant to book a ticket for the Global Milling with GRAPAS Conference in Köln on Thursday June 11. 

Instead, she booked a ticket to the Global Melon with Grapes Conference. 
 
This was silly. 

Particularly as she will now miss the opportunity to meet and hear Sarah Zimmerman. 
    

Sarah is Communications Coordinator for the Global Secretariat of the Food Fortification Initiative (FFI). 

She has written stories you may have read in Milling and Grain magazine about fortifying wheat flour, maize flour, and rice. She wrote stories for daily newspapers and marketing pieces for private-sector organizations before joining the Food Fortification Initiative staff in 2008. 

At FFI she manages the website, social media, newsletters, and media requests. For country partners, she provides advocacy resources and help with planning communications campaigns. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and 30 years of communications experience.

Sarah will be speaking on 'Fortification Works: New Evidence of Health Impact'.
