16/09/2015: AEC, Prospects on Meat Industry and Broiler Technical Conference on Livestock Asia 2015

Industry experts and major stakeholders are set to gather and share their expertise in Asia’s biggest feed and livestock show, set to unfold on September 21-23, 2015 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Aside from a wide display of the state-of-the-art innovations in feed and livestock production, Livestock Asia 2015 - now on its 8th edition - will also serve as the centrepiece of information with its series of interesting seminars and conferences that trade players will surely do not want to miss.

With the theme 'Feeding AEC’s Future', a seminar on ASEAN product registration will be held on September 22 to highlight business opportunities in feed and animal health under the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). Delegates from the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand will discuss new business procedures under the AEC.

Broiler producers will get all the necessary tools for an effective broiler production as the Federation of Livestock Farmers’ Association of Malaysia (FLFAM) will hold a technical seminar on September 23 where experts from multinational corporations will impart their knowledge on cost-effective broiler farming.

Food and meat connoisseurs led by Mr Gordon Butland of G&S Agri-Consultants Co, Ltd, Mr David Santos of the Poultry Promotion Association of Thailand, Professor Dr Abdul Salam Babji of the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Rachel Philip of Asian Agribiz Magazine will present everything about meat - from farm to table - during Asia Meatec 2015 on September 22 at the KLCC Hall 5, Seminar Room 2. The seminars will be followed by a panel discussion with meat integrators to be headed by FLFAM president Mr Jeffrey Ng Choon Ngee, and Dr Rutcharin Limsupavanich from the Bangkok-based Meat Technology Research Network Centre, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.
