In association with VIV MEA, this half-day conference will provide consummate knowledge on new developments and unique innovations in the world of milling.

  • Roger Gilbert, Publisher of Milling and Grain magazine, with a talk entitled ‘A Robust Compound Feed Industry – Opportunities for the Middle East & Africa’.
  • Raphael Krucker, Head of Customer Service and Business Development for Buhler, Middle East and Africa Region, who will be discussing ‘New market opportunities for processing local grain in to traditional foods’.
  • Dr Mian Riaz, Director of Texas A&M University's Food Protein R&D Centre, who will talk about the ‘Role of extrusion processing in feed production’.
  • And Emmanuel Geneiatakis, Secretary General of FAMI-QS, who will be discussing ‘Feed safety and third party certification’.
