14/03/2016: Quoc Trieu Nguyen of Olmix to address 2016 Ildex Conference

Quoc Trieu Nguyen, Aqua Coordinator for Olmix, will address Ildex 2016 on the topic of "Sustainable solutions for the optimized aqua diet formulations"

Ildex Vietnam 2016, will offer visitors an opportunity to hear and learn in detail the background to some exciting new technologies during the three-day exhibition.

Two half-day conferences will be held on March 25, 2016, one on Milling and Genetics and the other on Aquaculture. 

The Milling and Genetic conference will present presentations which will look at the global feed industry and its role in meeting the needs of a modern industry followed by two presentations on pig genetic developments and pig farm management.

Quoc Trieu Nguyen will discuss how compared to other sub-regions in the Asia-Pacific, Aquaculture in southeast Asia is highly diversified with a large number of species cultured in fresh, brackish and marine environments but is still suffering a high production cost versus final output.

This is due to a significant increase in veterinary costs, labour and most importantly; feed cost which can account for 70 percent to 80 percent of the whole invested capital. 

By working on a new technology , MFeed + innovated by Olmix, which comprises of a variety of sophisticated cofactors which play an important role in increasing biocatalysis. 

This promising product has shown its efficiency in the optimization of tilapia diets which were composed of less digestive proteins in a trial conducted in 2015 at Kassesart University, Thailand.

The Aquatic Review Conference 2016 will take place in Meeting Room 3 on the third floor of the SECC in Saigon on Friday March 25, 2016. There is onsite registration of 1,200,000 Vietnamese Dong (US$52).
