Learn to identify the various types of grain facilities and how to determine the right components for facility construction, expansion or modernization in GEAPS 511: Grain Facilities Planning and Design II.

This advanced online course from the GEAPS/Kansas State University Distance Education Program is intended for grain industry professionals who have completed GEAPS 510: Facilities Planning and Design I, or have some experience in facility planning and design. It is not recommended for new grain industry employees.


“My position is primarily responsible for creating high-level initial facility layouts for potential sites,” said Tim Hoare, CHS, Minneapolis Chapter. 
     
“The information in the course was very helpful. The more I know, the fewer design passes are required and the less time it takes to get projects out for bid.”
