Bunge, Wilmar to launch JV in Vietnam
The two companies have joined forced to leverage their respective footprints in Asia through the formation of an oilseed joint venture in Vietnam –one of the fastest growing edible oil markets in Asia.

New crush capacity at its Straubing, Germany site has enabled ADM to source non-GMO soybeans from the Danube region to process into soymeal and oil for sale to customers across Western Europe.
  
Black Sea overtook US as top grain exporter in 2015/16
Black Sea grain exports for the 12 months ending in June surpassed U.S. shipments by 10 percent on the back of large harvests and weakening currencies.

UK farmers denied emergency use of neonics – twice
The UK National Farming Union and the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board have had two requests for the emergency use of neonicotinoid pesticides to protect winter oilseed rape crops from cabbage stem flea beetle refused.
   
Canadian researchers testing camelina meal in dairy rations
The University of Saskatchewan is conducting trials including camelina meal in dairy cow rations to determine its safety and effect on milk quality. If testing remains on schedule, approval could be complete by early 2018.
  
Cargill continues restructuring, sells retail unit to Agrium
Cargill has agreed to divest its 18 ag-retail locations that sell crop inputs at locations in Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Indiana as it aims at being "the world's leading merchant of grain and oilseeds".
