With this new registration of KemTRACE Chromium in the Middle East, Kemin has accomplished an important milestone in organic trace mineral nutrition.

With more than 20 years of research and development, chromium propionate is a proven source and is fed to millions of animals around the world.

Flagship trace minerals in the portfolio are KemTRACE Chromium and KemTRACE Zinc. “

KemTRACE Chromium and KemTRACE Zinc are essential nutrients used to support increased trace mineral nutrition and improve profitability for the livestock industry in the Middle East region,” said Malek Abdelqader, Commercial Director Middle East region.

“Trace minerals are essential components of poultry and livestock feed for normal functioning and production. By offering this nutrient in the Middle East, it allows producers the opportunity to increase profitability and grow healthy animals to meet the rapidly increasing consumer demand for protein in the region.”

KemTRACE Chromium is used in dairy, beef and poultry diets in more than 30 countries.

Today, KemTRACE Chromium is the only FDA approved source of chromium available in the USA for broilers, dairy and beef diets.

Over the last several months, the Kemin regulatory team has been dedicated to registering the diverse KemTRACE minerals across the Middle East region.

“The work behind the registrations in the region represents our commitment to register vital, new molecules to support the industry need for increased efficiency and profitability for the livestock industry,” said KP Philip, President of Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health.

“More than a dozen peer-reviewed journal publications and countless studies support the use of KemTRACE Chromium, an organic source of chromium and as an essential mineral needed to advance animal nutrition.”
