11/05/2017: Alapala’s two new exciting projects

The following is a press release from Alapala reporting on two of their recent projects in Turkey and Iraq

1. Alapala’s Second Turnkey Project in Mardin - Turkey
Akcan wheat factory was commissioned as a turnkey project by Alapala in Mardin Kızıltepe Organised Industrial Zone.

The plant consists of a 500 TPD capacity milling facility and four steel silos with each 3,000 tons capacity. Alapala’s innovation was presented in this project which was equipped with the state of the art Alapala machines.

Completed with high quality standards of hygiene Akcan wheat factory will supply the flour needs of Mardin and nearby cities of Turkey. By commisioning Akcan wheat factory, Alapala has accomplished second turnkey project in Mardin.

Previously, Karaboğalar Flour Mill was completed at a record time about five months in Mardin Organised Industrial Zone with 600T/24h of wheat processing capacity, and came on stream in July 2015.

2. Alapala Took a Big Leap in Baghdad - Iraq
Alapala commissioned a turnkey flour production plant on a 6000 sq. meter land in Bagdad, the capital city of Iraq. The facility has two lines of 250 TPD, totally 500 TPD hard and semi-hard wheat milling capacity.

Six-storey concrete mill was constructed according to the highest hygiene standards. It is one of the limited number of wheat milling facilities in the region, which makes production without any touch of human hands, and it has a fully automatic packaging section within.

Full automatic PLC controlled facility has all the opportunities of cutting edge technology such as remote management and management information system. The machines Alapala Group manufactures are still being used in more than 5,000 factories all over the world.

By adding another reference project in the Middle East, Alapala improved its strong position of market penetration in the region.
