Two interactive sessions on trade facilitation at the IGC Grains Conference 2019, London

A packed agenda is in place for the 28th IGC Grains Conference, with more speakers than ever before confirmed for the two day event, to be held in central London on 11-12 June 2019. Register now to take advantage of unrivalled opportunities to exchange knowledge and deepen your business network.

The forum has long been established as the industry's flagship conference, bringing together trade professionals, policymakers and business leaders from across the entire supply chain. The Conference has again been extended into a second day, during which stakeholders will have the opportunity to share views and engage with market experts in a series of interactive workshops, with a view to enhancing the sustainable value chain in the grain sector.

Two interactive sessions dedicated to trade facilitation will be hosted by the International Grain Trade Coalition (IGTC) and CropLife International.

1. International Grain Trade Coalition (IGTC) - A dialogue on international progress through cooperation
The IGTC works closely with industry and governments around the world to achieve a market and regulatory environment supportive of trade that avoids disruptions in the international movement of grain, oilseeds, pulses and derivative products. This interactive session will examine how cooperation between governments and commercial actors can encourage innovation and enhance world trade. Comments and suggestions from the audience will be incorporated into future dialogue between the IGTC actions and governments.
