Speaking during the company's first virtual press conference earlier this morning, Mr Garmer Wacker, CEO of Bühler Consumer Foods, provided a range of ideas on how companies can stay resilient and successful, despite the ongoing uncertainty surrounding COVID-19.
He touched upon business values that can help ensure a company's success both in the short- and the long-terms.
'In today's world, we not only see it as our responsibility to ensure the continuity of food supply chains, but also to keep business afloat by enabling close collaboration among industry partners and with our customers,' he says.
Optimising product quality and reducing waste and energy consumption are key aspects to ensuring each company can continue to work effectively.
