SOLIDS Dortmund postponed to June 2021

In view of the extended partial lockdown, exhibitors at SOLIDS & Recycling-Technik are in favour of postponing the industry event to 16th and 17th June 2021.

In a survey conducted by the organiser, a clear majority of 97 percent of exhibitors chose the new date offered for next year in the early summer.

'We would have very much liked to hold the show in March but our sophisticated hygiene concept is not the only basis for a safe and successful event. The personal sense of security of those involved also plays a major role,' says Sandrina Schempp, Event Director of the organiser Easyfairs.

Summer 2021 promises improvement
All parties involved are in favour of the later date for Solids & Recycling-Technik on 16th and 17th June 2021.

Vaccinations and rising temperatures promise more than just a breathing space. Open halls and extensively used open spaces guarantee intensive air exchange and a healthy climate.

'Already this year, with no vaccines available, the number of infections in summer has fallen sharply. Easyfairs was able to hold trade shows successfully. Therefore, we are also optimistic with the newly chosen date of the event. Due to this we also expect a decrease in infection rates next year from June onwards,' says Ms Schempp.

Until then, the organiser Easyfairs will remain active and will continue to adapt the already very comprehensive protection and hygiene concept for the event to the current conditions.

Tickets and contracts remain valid
The three-month postponement has no effect on the exhibitor contracts concluded or on ticket purchases or visitor registrations. All agreements and bookings remain unchanged for the trade show duo's visit on 16th and 17th June 2021.

Insights and news via social media and trade show blog
With the flow of information becoming more important due to a lack of social contact and continuous working from home, Easyfairs regularly reports on numerous online portals.

In addition to the already established posts on Twitter, XING, LinkedIn and Facebook, a blog with trends and short interviews can now be found on the websites of the trade shows.

Until the trade shows start, all those interested can keep up to date on current topics of the bulk materials and recycling industries and the trade show itself.
