There are also positive data on animal husbandry. In 2020, it is estimated that livestock and poultry production (live weight) for slaughter will reach 15.6 million tons with an increase of 3.2 percent compared to 2019. In particular, cattle production increased by 0.2 percent to 2.8 million tons.
Poultry production increased by 0.4 percent to 6.7 million tons. Milk production is expected to increase 2.5 percent to 32.1 million tons, and eggs 0.4 percent to 45.1 billion tons.
