The American Feed Industry Purchasing & Ingredients Suppliers conference (AFIA – PISC) is designed for buyers and sellers of feed and pet food ingredients. The event hosted industry experts in Orlando, Florida and saw an interesting line up of renowned speakers that discussed the latest developments in the feed industry. For Hamlet Protein the event provided great networking opportunities.

The annual Arkansas Nutrition conference, coordinated by the Feed Manufacturers Committee of the Poultry Federation, was held in Rogers, Arkansas. The conference brought together an international group of technical experts to address challenges and opportunities in poultry nutrition. The Carolina Feed Industry Association (CFIA) organised its 83rd summer convention in Atlantic Beach, North Carolina. The meeting program included Dr. Adam Fahrenholz – NCSU Professor on Poultry & Feed Milling update; Dr. Eric van Heugten – NCSU Professor on Swine Update and the Honorable John Bell of the North Carolina House of Representatives.

'These events offer the Hamlet Protein team a fantastic opportunity to meet with customers and colleagues from the industry. Even though attendance at industry gatherings is still affected by ongoing Covid-19 concerns, we are very happy to be present at these industry leading events to learn about the latest developments in animal nutrition and to be able to share our latest insights from our research into soy-based specialty ingredients and fibre applications,' comments Grady Fain, Regional Director NCA with Hamlet Protein.

Hamlet Protein produces soy-based protein ingredients for young piglet, poultry, and cattle feed at two production plants in Denmark and the US. Hamlet Protein services customers around the world through a network of own sales offices and distributors.
