Holde Agri Invest bought agricultural land in Calarasi

Romania-based agricultural company Holde Agri Invest has purchased a farm in the district of Calarasi for US$466,600.
 
According to the press release made by the company management, the farm with an area of ​​230 hectares is located near Frumusani. The company representative comments, 'The value of the agreement includes this year's wheat, sunflower and corn harvest and Agricultural Payments and Response Institution subsidies for the current year, which will be fully covered by the company. Expansion of farmland is the main goal in Holde's development strategy. Therefore, in addition to the recently completed transaction, we are holding a series of talks and negotiations on the acquisition of three more farms in total during this period. If all the purchasing procedures are completed successfully, we will start operating a total area of ​​13,000 hectares,' he says.

'In addition to purchasing new farms, we continue to invest in the modernisation of existing farms by renewing our agricultural machinery fleet, investing in irrigation systems and installing silos in this period.'
