Practical Short Course on Extruded Pet Foods and Treats available in June

As several events continue to be postponed, moved online, or cancelled altogether as a result of Covid-19 concerns in the United States, Texas A&M University (TAMU) has announced its 7th Annual Practical Short Course on Extruded Pet Food and Treats, will be held in Hybrid format (face to face as well as virtually) from June 27- July 1, 2022. 
A one-week Practical Short Course on Extruded Pet Foods and Treats will be presented in June 27- July 1, 2022, at Texas A&M University by staff, industry representatives, and consultants. The program will cover information on pet food nutrition, material handling, preconditioning, extrusion of pet foods, extruded and non-extruded treats, baked pet treats, raw material, extrusion hardware, automation, product analysis, meat handling in pet food, drying, cooling, and enrobing, food safety, pet food and treat shelf life, trouble shooting and pet food related class activities. Reservations are accepted on a first-come basis.
