'LaToya truly lives our core values, and we have benefited greatly from her dedication to excellence and continuous improvement,' says Zinpro President and CEO Rob Sheffer, noting that Burrell brings significant strengths to the global company as it faces increasingly complex business needs. 'We look forward to leveraging her leadership skills and legal expertise on our leadership team as we continue to grow.'

Since joining Zinpro in February 2021, Mr Sheffer notes that Ms Burrell has led numerous culture-building initiatives, including an employee-focused mental health education campaign in partnership with the Minnesota chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) – an effort that earned Zinpro NAMI Minnesota's Employer of the Year award for 2021.

Ms Burrell also led the formation of the company's first Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Council and the establishment of DEI goals. She created a new strategic framework for corporate giving, leading Zinpro and Anderson Foundation to develop expanded partnerships with Bountifield International and Heifer International, which the company celebrated on International Women's Day. Ms Burrell also played a leading role in the formation of the Women of Zinpro, the company's first employee resource group.

Ms Burrell received a law degree from Southern University Law Centre and an MBA from Metropolitan State University.
