Andritz appoints Marco Baumann as VP Business Unit Capital

Andritz Feed & Biofuel has announced the appointment of Marco Baumann as Vice President Unit Capital effective this month. Mr Baumann was previously Animal Feed Industry Director within the company where he was instrumental in establishing Andritz as a strategic partner for plant solutions for feed producers internationally.

Marco's 30 years of experience in plant engineering have given him in-depth knowledge and experience required to tackle the challenges the feed and biofuel industries are facing today. His goal is to continue to position the company at the forefront of global issues and addressing challenges such as feeding a growing population.

"Andritz is a company that is ever-evolving and to be part of that evolution is an opportunity I take very seriously," says Mr Baumann. "At present, we face fundamental challenges in terms of feeding the global population and addressing environmental issues such as reducing CO2 emissions."

Striving to innovate process technology, invest in R&D, and concentrate on optimising the traditional feed chain and biomass production are fundamental to this approach.

"They must be faced head on, and we are uniquely placed as a business to make a tangible impact – from pioneering the process changes required to use alternative proteins in feed, to optimising biomass fuel production. Our customers trust our expertise, knowledge and capability to deliver plant solutions of all sizes," he concludes.

Andritz will be exhibiting at Victam Asia from September 7-9 2022, where Marco will be available to discuss individual needs and requirements at booth 1910.

Andritz will also be taking part in Milling and Grain's Build My Feed Mill conference, to be held at Victam Asia, where speakers will be given the opportunity to present 10-minute long presentations on their solutions for feed mills.
