EuroTier previewed in Bangkok

The next EuroTier edition, a leading livestock exhibition to take place in November 2024, will be previewed to thousands of Asian farmers and companies this week in Bangkok, Thailand, at EuroTier's stand at VIV Asia: IMPACT, Hall 2, booth 2738. Covering international technical solutions for poultry, pig, cattle and aquaculture farming a well as feed, health and welfare, EuroTier offers a comprehensive overview for some 7,000 Asian farming professionals, who regularly visit EuroTier.

With the World Poultry Show - the international venue for the poultry industry - as a key highlight, the next EuroTier will be held in Hanover, Germany, 12-15 November 2024, and will once again be offering the full range of equipment, solutions and innovations, from animal housing and breeding to feed and zootechnics.

At the EuroTier stand in Bangkok, sustainable animal husbandry systems, animal welfare and rising feed and energy costs, as well as production efficiency and food safety are just some of the talking points setting the scene for EuroTier 2024.

'As growth in poultry production is once again expected in Thailand over the coming year, the World Poultry Show could not have come at a better time for Thai visitors. Furthermore, farmers from neighbouring countries like Vietnam and Myanmar are often facing the very challenges for which solutions are being presented and discussed at EuroTier,' says Ines Rathke, Project manager EuroTier.

Professional visitors from Asia appreciate the EuroTier venue for its full range of technical livestock equipment, solutions and innovations, not found in this breadth anywhere else in the world.

While the international EuroTier exhibitors present farm equipment, feed, health and management solutions, EuroTier's technical program explores current topics using practical and expert input. Some 400 topic sessions with over 1,000 individual presentations and discussions from automation and digitalisation, cooling of animal housing to insect breeding feeding and food traceability systems as well as optimised housing for laying hens are expected.

EuroTier showcases future trends of livestock farming through the EuroTier innovation award scheme with 150 world premieres registered at the last edition. Award-winning solutions included sensor-based systems that detect respiratory diseases in piglets, adaptable teat cup liners for dairy cows and management of black soldier fly rearing for poultry feed.

The Thai venue of Viv Asia 8-10 March is ideal since EuroTier-organiser DLG's (German Agricultural Society) subsidiary - DLG Thai - is conveniently located in Bangkok, from where it offers international knowledge-sharing platforms for Asian farmers, companies and experts. The stop in Thailand is part EuroTier's tour through leading livestock regions in the world.
