New recycling points for Symaga

Symaga are glad to announce that by the end of 2022 they successfully renewed their ISO 14001 Certification. Finding ways to improve their waste management has been one of their targets during the last year. For this reason, Symaga have built up more recycling units by using more containers to efficiently separate cardboard paper. Furthermore, in order to generate more freedom of movement and facilitate the unloading tasks to their logistic staff recently two preexisting recycling areas have been extended and restructured with their corresponding civil works.

Further actions put in place to protect the environment have been the renovation of 25 percent of their entire forklift feet, by all of them shifting from the combustion motor to the electric one. Moreover, from now on 50 percent of Symaga's overall energy consumption comes from a green renewable source, which was achieved with the extension of their photovoltaic solar energy plant already installed in year 2020.

For year 2023 their most important goal in terms of contributing to sustainability consists of adding more segregation points and elaborating a new action plan to protect the natural environment.

They are proud at Symaga because their factory produces silos in a more sustainable way. Their objective is to be leading the future steps to sustainability.
