Ipack-Ima revs up its organisational engine for the 2018 edition on its most fitting ground, that of pasta industrialists. The exhibition, the leading event for pasta technology along the entire production chain, will sponsor the World Pasta Day & Congress 2015, Milan, taking place from October 25th to 27th.
This year the occasion of October 25th, the World Pasta Day – created to give visibility to the icon of Italian cuisine and communicate its nutritional benefits – has particular relevance because of the EXPO, which will be home to the celebrations, with the support of the Unesco, at Palazzo Italia. Participants include some of the main players in the pasta industry like Riccardo Felicetti, President of the International Pasta Organisation (IPO) and President of the Italian Pasta Makers members of AIDEPI, with the exceptional participation of Michelin multi-starred chef Massimo Bottura from Osteria Francescana, Modena.
Over the following two days – October 26th and 27th – pasta will be at the centre of the 'World Pasta Congress' with the participation of producers, economists, nutritionists, opinion leaders and media from all over the world. Ipack-Ima 2018 will have a stand at the venue of the event, the Fiera Milano Congress Centre in Rho, Milan. It will provide Congress participants with information about the opportunity to exhibit and visit the next edition of the international exhibition, which showcases industrial technology for pasta production as well as top-level machinery and materials for food and non-food processing and packaging.
