Whether you are new to the industry or a veteran looking to do your job more effectively, GEAPS 500: Introduction to grain handling operations will give you the skills to work more efficiently.

This entry-level course from the GEAPS/K-State Distance Education Program identifies the main types of grain elevators, how grain moves through the facility and the main functions of common grain facility equipment.

“Learning about the different types of elevators and equipment available that can make day-to-day operations more efficient was very helpful,” said Marshall Ellsworth, Mountaire Farms Inc, Mid-Atlantic Chapter.

“This course has improved my performance at my elevator.”

GEAPS 545: Grain entrapment: causes, prevention and rescue is also available in July.
