23/06/2017: Third International Congress on Food Technology 2018

 The third International Congress on Food Technology will be held in Cappadocia in Turkey, October 10-12, 2018. 

 This will be an opportunity to present research achievement and share valuable experiences in the food science and technology fields. 

 This congress will be a global gathering with a scientific program which will cover topics of almost all aspects of food science and technology research and development, besides the strategic plans and approaches to prevention of food fraud which is the most important global food industry and regulatory issue, rather than catching it. 

 This international congress will provide a platform for food science and technology researchers and professionals from different parts of the world to discuss and learn about their latest research achievement and to develop collaborations, in addition with trying to find solutions to food fraud. 

 The theme of the Congress is What can we do to prevent food fraud?

 Local and international speakers will also present information on a variety of food frauds such as adulterant substances, including substitution, dilution and concealment; tampering; theft; diversion; over-runs or unauthorised production; and simulations and intellectual property rights counterfeiting. 

 The congress will combine high quality scientific content with the opportunity to meet in a fascinating nature wonder in Turkey, Cappadocia (land of the beautiful horses), and venue for the Congress. 

 It is one of the most interesting and spectacular landscapes in the world where the natural effects of wind, water and rain eroded this area into a spectacular, surrealist landscape of rock caves, capped pinnacles and fretted ravines in colors ranging from warm tones of red and gold to cool tones of green and gray. It is also a culturally dynamic town offering social attractions and events, as well as modern and comfortable accommodation, which guarantees every participant a really pleasant stay nowadays. 

 Although 2018 is a long time away, the organisers are asking of the global food science and technology community to make every effort to join them in Cappadocia, Turkey.
