The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) is now accepting nominations for its Liquid Feed Hall of Fame Award through July 30, to be recognised at the 2021 Liquid Feed Symposium on September 8.
Launched in 2019, the award recognises individuals who have made significant contributions to support the growth of the liquid feed industry.
'Each year, we look forward to giving this honour to a deserving individual who has worked hard to further the development and use of liquid feed,' says Paul Davis, Ph.D., AFIA's director of quality, animal food safety and education. 'The liquid feed industry is highly specialised and relatively young compared to the overall industry. As such, it necessitates and creates innovative, pioneering individuals that have contributed greatly, are passionate about liquid feed and should be recognised'
AFIA's Liquid Feed Committee developed the award in 2003 to recognise individuals who have made significant contributions to the science and growth of the liquid feed industry. To date, 21 individuals have won this award.
Those interested in nominating individuals for the hall of fame award must submit a completed nomination form to Paul Davis at pdavis@afia.org. Nominations will be accepted until Friday, July 30.
