Cargill-charters ship hit by a projectile while sailing the Black Sea near Ukraine

On Thursday 24 February the Global Farm commodities trader, Cargill, said that one of its chartered ocean vessels was hit by a projectile. Fortunately they have reported that the ship remains remained seaworthy and all of the crew were safe and accounted for.

The incident occurred offshore from Ukraine on Thursday after Russia launched an invasion of the major grain-producing country where Cargill operates an export terminal.
