Minister of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi held a meeting with Romanian Minister Petre Dea

The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Mykola Solsky, met in Bucharest with the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Romania, Petre Dea.

The ministers discussed the situation that arose as a result of the latest decisions of some countries neighboring Ukraine. The Romanian minister confirmed that the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products will move across the country as much as possible and the ways of solidarity will be preserved.

For his part, Mykola Solskyi thanked his colleague that Romania did not take a decision to ban the import of Ukrainian agricultural products.

The parties agreed on the need to wait for the decision of the European Commission and after that to discuss all other issues related to the import of agricultural products from Ukraine.
