Indo Livestock 2024 Expo & Forum: successfully closed this year

August 5, 2024 - Indo Livestock, Indo Feed, Indo Dairy, Indo Agrotech, Indo vet and Indo Fisheries 2024 Expo & Forum was successfully held this year. The exhibitions gathered 580 companies from 40 countries along with 12 countries' pavilions and 18,467 trade visitors. PT Napindo Media Ashatama (Napindo) extends appreciation and gratitude for all participation and contribution from all stakeholders, ministries and agencies, associations, supporting publications, sponsors, as well as official partners.

Opened by the Minister of Agriculture represented by the Director General of Livestock and Animal Health of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic Indonesia - Dr Ir Nasrullah, MSc, together with Deputi I Food and Agribusiness Sector, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Republic of Indonesia, Dida Gardera, and Director of General of Marine and Fisheries Product Competitiveness of the Ministry of Marina Affairs and Fisheries Republic of Indonesia, Dr Budi Sulistyo, MSc, this annual exhibition is fully supported by five Supporting Ministries, 36 Supporting Associations, five Universities, five Strategic Partners and 25 Local and International Media Partners.

Director General of Livestock and Animal Health of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic Indonesia - Dr Ir Nasrullah, MSc said in his speech at the Opening Ceremony of the event, The Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) appreciates the event as a form of positive support to encourage the growth of the livestock and fisheries industry in the country. "The exhibitions provide significant information contributions for stakeholders in the food sector, especially in supporting food self-sufficiency. Indo Livestock 2024 Expo and Forum are a momentum for business actors to develop products that currently have not achieved food self-sufficiency, especially dairy and milk products," he said.

On the same occasion, the Director General of Marine and Fisheries Product Competitiveness of the Ministry of Marina Affairs and Fisheries Republic of Indonesia, Dr Budi Sulistyo, MSc said, "This exhibition is a real form of how the agriculture, fisheries and livestock sectors can become one of the backbones of the national economy. The UN predicts that the world's population growth will reach 9.7 billion in 2050. This requires a mature strategy and planning and these three sectors play an important role in providing food. So, the Indo Fisheries is expected to become a useful platform for industrial players, both middle class and industrial, as well as exporters who will introduce their products, attract incoming partners and invest," said Budi.

Meanwhile, Dida Gardera, Deputi II Food and Agribusiness Sector, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Republic of Indonesia said that, "Synergy and coordination from all stakeholders from the government, private sector and academics must always be improved. This exhibition is a good momentum, especially since this exhibition incorporate Indo Feed, Indo Dairy, Indo Agrotech, Indo Vet & Indo Fisheries 2024 Expo & Forum, of course the hope is to be a meeting point for various parties including business matching, sharing experience and knowledge can be optimised here."

Project Director Napindo said, this series of successful collaborations with six exhibitors and forums will continue with Indo Livestock, Indo Feed, Indo Dairy, Indo Agrotec, Indo Vet and Indo Fisheries 2025 Expo & Forum on July 2-5, 2025, at Grand City Convex, Surabaya. A total of 300 companies from 30 countries are targeted to participate in this annual event, including 10 Country Pavilions and it is hoped that it will attract 15,000 visitors during the three days of the show. "We look forward to welcoming you again next year. With your participation and support, we are sure next year's exhibition and forum will be even more successful."
