Russia: October grain exports predicted to rise to 3.7 m tonnes, Igor Pavensky, CJSC

The volumes of grain exports from Russia in the near future will continue increasing, and in October 2012 may reach 3.7 m tonnes, predicted Igor Pavensky, the head of the analysis sector of department of strategic marketing of CJSC 'Rusagrotrans', which will become one of the key speakers of the international conference 'Grain of Russia - 2012'.

The expert also informed that in August 2012 the export supplies of Russian grains are expected to total nearly 3 m tonnes, in September - nearly 3.2-3.5 m tonnes.

I. Pavensky also updated the forecast of the general grain harvest in the Russian Federation in 2012, reducing it to the level of 75.2 m tonnes, against 77.4 m tonnes of the previous forecast. The wheat production will total 42.5 m tonnes (56.5% of the general harvest), against 56.2 m tonnes (59.7%) in 2011. In the current year the harvest of barley will decrease by 2.3 m tonnes - to 14.6 m tonnes.

Maize will be the only grain crop, which production volumes in the current year will exceed the last year index - 7.2-7.6 m tonnes, against 7 m tonnes in 2011, said I. Pavensky.

Event: Grain of Russia

August 5 is the deadline of the early bird fee for participation in Grain of Russia - 2012

APK-Inform Agency and the National Union of grain producers continue realising preparation works for holding of the international conference “Grain of Russia - 2012” (September 24-25, 2012, Rostov-on-Don, hotel Don-Plaza).

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation provides support for the conference.
The company Ingosstrakh is the sponsor of the conference.

Event: Grain of Russia 2012

The National Union of grain producers and APK-Inform Agency under support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia hold of the international conference “Grain of Russia - 2012” (September 24-2 5 2012, Russia, Rostov-on-Don, hotel DON-PLAZA). The event takes place within the Russian Grain Week..
For the fifth time the southern "capital" of Russia will welcome guests from all over the "grain" world. Unlike other conferences "Grain of Russia" gathers not only the government officials and top-managers of a small number of large-scale multinational companies, but also a wide range of grain market participants, including small and medium-scale companies, all segments of the industry – grain producers, processors, traders, surveyors, lawyers, logisticians. At the same time, the geography of participants shows fairly broad range: Egypt, Turkey, Syria, Libya, France, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, the USA, etc.
