Nutrifair Denmark's new special exhibition

Nutrifair 2012 is Denmark's newest exhibition for suppliers and buyers from the animal production industry. It will be held for the first time on the January 25 and 26, in Fredericia, Denmark.  The event organised by Fredericia Messecenter in cooperation with NutriDoc and backed up by a strong team of players in the industry. There will be topical themes of very different kinds, ranging from legislative issues and optimisation of operating processes to presentations of technological breakthroughs. Read more ...

Dekalb Feeds and JBS Unite enter into new joint venture

JBS and DeKalb have entered a joint venture involving its IA mill facility in Frytown. This new venture will be called Central Nutrition Services (CNS). CNS will initially focus on manufacturing superior quality livestock feeds and nutritional supplements for both JBS and DeKalb and their customers throughout the Midwest. Kelly Keaschall, President of DeKalb Feeds, said “By combining the production needs of both DeKalb and JBS United, this mill can be operated more efficiently and cost-effectively”. Read more ...

Provimi US applies for grant for expansion

Provimi North America has applied for a grant of US$250,000 (€173,490) from the Montgomery County Commissioners in Ohio, USA, who are considering giving out more than US$950,000 (€659,264) in economic development grants. Provimi was one of the projects recommended for approval. The US$250,000 (€173,490) grant is to be used to offset costs for Provimi North America Inc, a farm animal nutrition company based in Brookville, which is eyeing an 11,000-square-foot expansion to its manufacturing facility at NorthBrook Industrial Park.
